Day by day

Day 1
Gorkhi-Terelj National Park – Nomadic Family – Turtle Rock – Aryabal Meditation Temple
Leave Ulaanbaatar behind as we drive toward the beautiful Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. Along the way, we'll stop at a supermarket where you can purchase snacks and drinks for the journey. Upon arrival in the Terelj National Park, we will meet a local nomadic family and gain an insight into one of the world's oldest living traditions. Learn how families live in a traditional ger, discover their daily routines, and enjoy genuine Mongolian hospitality. Enjoy a guided horse ride with the family's horses and experience travelling across the Mongolian steppe like local herders. We will have a Mongolian lunch either at the nomadic family's or at a local ger café depending on availability. After lunch, we will go deeper into the national park and stop by the famous Turtle Rock, an impressive natural rock formation. We will continue with a short hike to ascend to the Aryabal meditation temple. Spend the night in a comfortable Mongolian ger (or in a wooden cottage depending on weather conditions) at a tourist camp. Shared accommodation includes 2–3 beds per ger, with separate sleeping arrangements for male and female guests. Private ger upgrades are available for an additional fee. The camp features modern amenities including electricity, Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities.
Stay: Ger camp
Day 2
Terelj National Park – Genghis Khan statue – Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, we will go on a 1-hour hike in the surrounding mountains and take in the peaceful natural scenery. Continue to the iconic Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, home to the world's tallest equestrian statue. Climb to the viewing platform for panoramic views of the surrounding steppe and explore the museum inside the complex. On our way back, we will stop at one of Ulaanbaatar's traditional markets, where you can browse local products, cashmere, souvenirs, and everyday Mongolian goods. At the end of the trip, we will drop you off at your desired location.
